Chronic Fatigue Syndrome

People with with CHRONIC FATIGUE SYNDROME (CFS) often describe experiencing one or more of the following symptoms:
  • Being Tired Frequently
  • Lacking the “Vim & Vigor” they used to have
  • Being Physically and Mentally Exhausted
  • Restless Sleep – Feeling Tired, even after Resting
  • Difficulty with Normal, Everyday Tasks
  • Muscle and Joint Pain
  • Difficulty Concentrating (including motivation)
  • Chronic Severe Mental and Physical Exhaustion

ChronicFatigueDid you know that once a legitimate reason for CFS is discovered, it is no longer labeled CFS?  This means  there is more than one cause for CFS. For example, one of the causes is Lyme disease infection; although there are many other conditions which can cause the symptoms of CFS.

In my book,  Solving the Puzzle of Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, Solving the Puzzle of Chronic Fatigue SyndromeDr. Rosenbaum and I postulated the likelihood of Mixed Infection Syndrome (MIS), or multiple infections at work in one patient at then same time.  MIS often has “co-infections”,  which can be contracted from the same tick as Borrelia (Lyme tick).

If you are experiencing the symptoms of Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, or Lyme disease and have any questions on related issues, please

  1. Hi,Doctor. I just spoke to you on the phone. As I told you, I was diagnosed with chronic fatigue syndrome and “sent on my way” by my primary care doctor. I’ve been housebound/bedridden for nine months. I really look forward to my first appointment with you this Monday. This is the most hope I’ve had in a long time. Thank you.

    • > Yes, I do use intramuscular gamma globulin for various conditions. It can improve the immune response, sometimes dramatically. I hope you will see me so we can work through this further.
