Partnering with Patients – A Team Approach
Meet Murray R. Susser, M.D.(H)
by Tina J. Garcia
It has been said that there is a silver lining in every dark cloud. I always believed that to be true; however, it wasn’t until I was overcome by the dark clouds of Lyme disease infection, that I was able to actually experience this phenomenon. For, if I had not contracted a debilitating Lyme infection from a tick bite, I would not have been fortunate enough to meet Dr. Murray Susser and his warm and radiant wife, Phyllis.
I feel greatly blessed through acquiring such cherished friendships in my association with the Lyme community. Dr. Susser has exhibited thoughtful medical care, compassion, generosity and friendship, and it was most memorable for me to peer through his panoramic window of medical experience during this interview. May I present the delightfully comical and impressive, Dr. Murray Susser. Read More …
Heavy Metal Detox
by Murray R. Susser, M.D.
WE HAVE TOO MUCH TOXIC METAL IN OUR WORLD AND IN OUR BODIES AND WE CAN DETECT AND TREAT THAT PROBLEM.
Heavy metals such as lead, mercury, cadmium, tin, aluminum, and others insidiously cause untold damage to our health and well-being. The levels that harm us sneak into our body and into target organs like the brain, spinal cord, heart, immune tissues, endocrine glands, etc. These levels are not considered toxic by most of conventional Medicine.
These metals can create havoc with our health and their presence is totally beneath the radar of conventional medicine. Yet, the EPA (Environmental Protection Agency) has published that these metals can cause high blood pressure, heart disease, I Q deficit (especially in children). The metals can suppress the thyroid, leading to fatigue, weight gain, brain fog, and many other signs of hypothyroid. The toxic effect on the immune system results in decreased resistance to infection (like Lyme Disease, Influenza, etc.). Many medical researchers feel that these toxic metals increase the risk of cancer. Read More …
A Paradigm Shift with Omega Essential Oils
By Murray R Susser MD (H)
A paradigm shift would be a fundamental change in an underlying assumption, model or style. For example, in the 1960’s the medical model for management of most bowel disease in the USA included a Low Residue Diet (LRD). In the 1960’s, Dr Denis Burkitt,, a respected British physician and researcher, had been working in Kenya and Uganda for many years and made vital observations about diet and bowel disease. Burkitt noted that the African diet was high in fiber and low in refined carbohydrates. In other words, they ate a HIGH Residue Diet (HRD). He observed and reported that many bowel diseases that are common in the USA are rare or non existent among the African natives that he observed. These diseases included constipation, diverticulitis, gallstones, appendicitis, hemorrhoids, polyps, and even colon cancer. Some greater surprises included deep vein thrombosis, HEART ATTACKS, AND HIGH BLOOD PRESSURE, as well as obesity and Diabetes. Read More …
